Tags in Spanish

Lucía wrote the Spanish version of Meet the Unit Fractions. Her classes show fractions with tortillas rather than pizza, so she tagged it Tortillas. Later she typed in a keyword no lesson had yet, Pan dulce, and saved.

Each language's version of a lesson has its own tags, as it has its own title. A term's label is translated, not the term: where a term has no Spanish label yet, the Spanish version shows its English one. A keyword typed on a Spanish version is added with a Spanish label only.

Try it: compare the Keywords row, then find the label shown in English, and the keyword Lucía typed.

Loading Meet the Unit Fractions in English and Spanish

Grade 3 and Unit fractions read 3.er grado and Fracciones unitarias on the Spanish version, because their terms have Spanish labels. Fraction strips has none yet, so it shows in English, marked as English is everywhere on this site. Pan dulce is the other way around: it has only Lucía's Spanish label, so an English lesson tagged with it shows Pan dulce, marked “From Spanish”. Once a maintainer adds the missing label, every lesson tagged with the term shows it at once.
