Step 5 of 10 in Tagging lessons
Sample data, read from content-sdk
Finding lessons by their tags
A teacher wants every lesson on fractions. Meet the Unit Fractions is tagged only with Unit fractions; nobody tagged it Fractions.
Tools built on content-sdk can find lessons by their tags: those with a term, with any of several terms, with none of them, with no tags at all, or with a term or anything under it. Under Fractions finds Unit fractions too, because Unit fractions sits under Fractions.
Try it: choose Under Fractions, then Grade 6 or Grade 7, then No grade yet.
So tag with the most exact strand that fits: the lesson is still found under every term above it. The same questions work on what readers see, which finds published lessons only, and across several types of content at once, where their fields share a vocabulary.
