Step 1 of 4 in Saving

Every save is kept
Ana is writing the Telling Time Teach Book, and has saved it three times so far: on 2 March, on 5 March, and on 16 March, with a new title.
Each save is kept as a saved version: what the resource held at that save, whom it was saved for, and when. Nothing is saved over, and there are no copies to name. The newest save is the working version, the one editors see. One save can be marked “Published”: that's the one readers get.
Try it: select each save, starting from the oldest, and see what it changed.
Ana never named a version or kept a copy, yet every save Ana made is in the list, with Ana's name and its date. When you want to know what changed in a resource, and when, its history answers it.
