The Spanish outline
Lucía has written Spanish versions of some of Math's lessons and resources, but not all of them. A Spanish reader still needs a whole outline to find their way around. So what does Math's Spanish outline show where there's no Spanish?
Each row can have a Spanish version, as a lesson can. A row with no Spanish version still has its English place, as the last step showed, but the Spanish outline only shows it when it shows English where Spanish is missing. A resource's row works differently again: the outline shows the resource in Spanish whenever the resource has a Spanish version, even if the row itself has none.
Try it: switch the outline to Spanish, then find Lesson 1 Teach Book, showing English and Spanish only.
Showing English, the Spanish outline has every row. Lesson 1 Teach Book's row has no Spanish version, so it sits in its English place, but it shows “Libro del maestro, lección 1”, because the resource has a Spanish version. Spanish only, the outline keeps just the rows with Spanish versions: that row, Lesson 2, and all of Module 2 aren't shown. A row decides where something sits, the resource decides what it says, and the view decides whether English fills the gaps. A Spanish version can also keep a place of its own: Lección 4 is under Tema A in Spanish, while Lesson 4 stays under Topic B in English.
