An unpublished Spanish version counts as missing

Lucía has written Lesson 3's Exit Ticket in Spanish, Ticket de salida, but it isn't published yet.

To readers, a Spanish version that isn't published is the same as none. Spanish readers who are shown English where Spanish is missing get the English Exit Ticket; those asking for Spanish only get nothing. Editors see Lucía's Spanish version.

Try it: compare what editors and readers get in Spanish.

So Lucía can work on the Spanish version without readers seeing it half done; they go on getting English. Once it's published, Spanish readers get it instead.
